The USB (Universal Support Bolt) is a brilliant solution to a problem that many cyclists have encountered: Not all cyclists who want to go on a trip own a bike that is designed for hauling bags, gear etc. This gadget, like a magic wand, can add extra eyelets to many models, allowing for more carrying capacity. Made of stainless steel, it is highly corrosion-resistant and will not easily loosen even on a long journey. We recommend using electrical tape or a cloth rim strip to protect the frame or fork legs. Avoid rubber inner tubes, as they can cause clamp breakage. Be sure to check the clamp after use.
The sizing accommodates the maximum diameter for secure installation.
Sizing Options:
- 1 1/8-inch: For handlebars, seat stays, etc. (minimum diameter: 3/4 inch)
- 1 3/8-inch: For steel frames and forks
- 1 5/8-inch: For 32mm suspension forks
- 2-inch: For aluminum tube bikes, 36mm suspension forks, and similar setups
- 2 1/4-inch: For bikes with larger tubes
- 2 1/2-inch: Also for bikes with larger tubes, or get creative with your mounting!
