Sato Beni Shoten
In 2015, Mr. Sato encountered a life-changing YUZU KOSHO. At a local banquet, he tasted a Red Yuzu Kosho unlike any he had ever tried—its vivid yuzu aroma and eye-opening chili spice left a lasting impression. The flavor was shockingly delicious.
Driven by the desire to revitalize the community through this extraordinary Yuzu Kosho, he began developing a new local specialty in the historic red-roofed town of Fukiya. He started by cultivating red chili peppers, sourcing fully ripened Yuzu nurtured by the region’s dramatic temperature shifts, and carefully processing each ingredient by hand.
The result was an exceptional Red Yuzu kosho, crafted with locally grown ingredients and the dedication of the community. Just like that first unforgettable taste, Sato Beni Shoten is committed to sharing the same excitement and joy through our bold and flavorful spicy seasonings.
