Masashi Kimura’s First Zine
Between the summer of 2025 and the spring of 2026, I took photographs across the United States during a series of road trips.
Portland, Snoqualmie, Santa Rosa, Santa Fe, Austin, and New Orleans.

Ordinary places, ordinary moments—scenes that seem as though they have always been there.
Street corners, interiors, the open road.

Traveling by car, riding a bicycle, and walking through cities—capturing the landscapes I encountered and the people I met.
Although these were all places I was visiting for the first time, the scenes I chose to photograph were those that evoked a certain sense of nostalgia.
