This spicy Red Hachimi (8 spice) blend is made using red chili peppers from Okayama Prefecture, infused with the bold aroma of Sichuan peppercorns.
The packaging design is inspired by a legendary dragon said to have lived in the Takahashi River.
As soon as you open the lid, the fragrant aroma of Sichuan peppercorns fills the air. This blend contains rare, domestically grown Sichuan peppercorns, along with carefully selected ingredients—all sourced from Japan.
The key to its rich and complex flavor lies in the perfect balance of spicy red chili peppers, Sichuan peppercorns, perilla seeds, ginger, dried citrus peel, YUZU peel, mugwort, and aonori seaweed.
